I originally took this photo because I thought the sky looked pretty as the sun was setting. Looking at the photo later, the clouds reminded me of an angel flying. Maybe that was just the sign of peace and protection I needed at that moment.
It’s that time of year when flowers are everywhere. Beauty is all around us. (I am aware it isn’t just found in flowers. I just like them.)
Boys pick flowers too. These are some of the wildflowers growing around our property picked by both boys.
Continuing to play with my camera. These are my mother-in-law’s lilies just after the rain.

This photo shows commitment in two forms.
The flowers are my wedding bouquet from over 6 years ago, a day I made a commitment to love and honor my husband for the rest of my life.
The piano was originally my grandmothers, then my mothers, and now mine. Each of us committed to spending hours practicing and taking lessons with this very piano.
Commit to something you love, something you enjoy, something you are passionate about to make it your own, to make it a reality.
I have been playing with my camera and camera phone a little more. Just having some fun. Today I was bored waiting for the contractor. I played with putting my wedding flowers that are over 6 years old on the piano that used to be my grandmothers.
My mother-in-law’s rose bushes…
Meet Gerald, a beautiful giraffe at the Elmwood Park Zoo and my new love. He is a beauty. We had the pleasure of feeding him while at the zoo.
We attended a wedding over the weekend. I loved the shades of purple flowers the bride selected.
Garden gnomes at my aunt and uncle’s house. I’m torn between creepy or cute.
